On a laptop or computer move your mouse to the top right hand corner of the screen. On a touch screen device such as a tablet swipe your finger in from the right hand side of the screen.

In the new panel that opens click or tap the Settings button.

In the new panel click or tap the network icon.

Find your wireless network in the list. It doesn’t have to be the one you are currently connected to.

Right click the network name or on a tablet tap and hold. A new menu will appear. Select View connection properties.

You will then be taken to the desktop with a new window open. Check the Show characters button. Your wireless password will then be shown in the Network Security Key field.
